Installing glass tiles

Having designed and installed several bathrooms in the past several months, I have been reminded time and again how important it is to know what you are doing if you are going to use glass tiles. They are truly the most beautiful, but they are also the most difficult to do right. Here are a few tips to make sure the project goes well:
1. Be sure the tile setter you hire has installed glass tiles before and has RECENT photos to show you.
2. Get a recent client's name and number so that you can talk to someone who has worked with that tile setter and get a feel for the quality of the installation.
3. Be sure they understand that they have to use a wet saw to cut glass tiles-this is KEY to getting a good looking job.
4. If you are not sure, contact the tile shop where you purchased your tiles and they will have a list of vetted tile installers for you.
Of course, if all of this still leaves you worried, you can always call ME to manage the project!
